Her main research interests and activities concern the social and economic impacts of information society technologies by using prospective methodologies (foresight) and integrating them to develop policy support at European level.

Previous Professional Experience

Work experience

Since 2002- Scientific IST officer in the ICT Unit of IPTS

 

Before IPTS, she worked for the management of PHARE TEMPUS Joint European Projects in Romania (1997-2002).

 

She has also participated as expert evaluator/ reviewer for European Commission since 1996 (INCO-COPERNICUS, TELEMATICS for Education and Training, PHARE EUROPA Programmes, among others).

 

She has spent some years in Scientific Research in Information and Communication Technologies (IPA Bucharest) and also as an Associate Lecturer in AISTEDA University and in the Polytechnics University of Bucharest.
