Technical skills and competences

-          Ability to develop quantitative and qualitative socio-economic analysis mainly in the following fields: knowledge based economy and the ICT sector; economic integration and transition from plan to market; competitiveness analysis and innovation policy; labour market analysis.

-          Ability to manipulate complex datasets, whether is for pure data management, modeling or forecasting, with the outmost attention to the methodological issues during all stages of working with data.

-          Advanced knowledge of general statistical methodology, national accounts and IO tables.

All technical abilities acquired through training programs (during PhD, fellowships abroad or at work).

Computer skills and competences

Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite and ease in using of various database management, economic modeling, time-series econometrics and related computer programs (ArcGIS, STATA, E-views, GAUSS, PC-Give, PC-Fiml, PC-Stamp and QuatroPro).
